Teva Tuesday #9

Hello everyone and welcome to the ninth post in my Teva Tuesday series! So today I am featuring Katka from wejusttravel.com. She and Mic have been traveling the world and are currently in Germany. Katka wears socks with her Tevas because it is different. They are from Slovenia and nobody wears them there. She says that the worst things is to wear what everyone else wears. She started wearing them with socks in the summer when her feet got cold, but she really liked the way they looked. Mostly she will wear them for practical reasons since those are usually the only shoes she wears. Although most of the time she wears them without socks. Winter is too cold and wet for her to wear them so summer is the only time she really wears them. Her favorite kind of socks to wear with them are colorful normal length socks. Socko Thursday #8

Hello everyone and welcome to the eighth post in my Socko Thursday series! It is officially socks and sandals season so what better way to start it off than with Instagram user itislaurenweeks! She wears socks with her Chacos because it's the best of both worlds. You can have the comfort of socks while still being able to move your toes and your feet don't feel trapped inside a regular shoe. Usually she will wear them while sitting around a campfire at night when her feet are swollen from being inside a hiking boot all day. But now that it's officially fall she will wear them as a part of her daily outfit when she isn't working up until the end of winter. She can't wear them while at her regular job, but during the holidays she works part-time at REI so she can rock her socks and Chacos then. Last year a co-worker at REI showed her how comfortable it was and she has worn them ever since. Her favorite socks to wear with them are Smartwool socks with different color combinations. She also has a blog called travelwilder.com where she posts pictures about her adventures. So without further or do here are the pictures!

Socko Thursday #7

Hello everyone and welcome the the seventh post in my Socko Thursday series! This week I am featuring Instagram user breezysworld. She wears socks with her Chacos because she likes socks and sandals and also because they are a bit too big for her. Wearing them with wool socks make them fit her feet better. Usually she will wear them in the colder months of the year or when it is chilly in the evening during summer. She will pretty much wear her Chacos or Birkenstocks with socks everyday unless she needs to look more professional. Her favorite socks to wear with them are usually wool socks from REI or striped colorful socks from Costco. She started wearing socks with her sandals regularly a few years ago, but has always liked them. So without further or do here are the pictures!

Fun Friday #1

Hello everyone and welcome to my new series of posts called Fun Friday! In this series I will focus on people who wear other brands of sandals with socks. I didn't want people who don't wear Keens, Tevas, or Chacos to feel left out. So for this first post I will be featuring Instagram user jacque_sue23. She wears them with socks because one of her favorite actresses wore her sandals with socks and she thought "why can't I try that?" Also what is the point of wearing fun socks if you can't even see them? Usually she will wear them without socks when dressing up, but for her more casual outfits she will almost always wear socks. Her favorite kind of socks to wear with them are higher fun socks with funny quotes on them. She wears her Chacos with socks because they look awesome and protect her feet from blisters. She will mostly wear them with socks when it's colder but it depends on the type of hike she does.
