Socko Thursday: kimmyt0

Hello everyone and welcome and this week's Socko Thursday post. Today I am featuring Instagram user kimmyt0! Kimmy wears socks with her Chacos to keep her feet warm and comfortable at the same time. She typically only wears socks with her Chacos when it's cold outside. Kimmy's favorite socks to wear with them are long socks with patterns or prints on them. She loves being able to look down and see animals on her socks. Kimmy has been wearing socks with her sandals for about 3 years. She first started wearing socks and flip-flops in the office because she didn't like having to wear shoes all day. So she would leave a pair of sandals under her desk and slip them on whenever she needed to get up. Eventually she just started wearing socks and sandals to work, instead of regular shoes. Socko Thursday: whollyunimpressive

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's Socko Thursday post! This week I am featuring Instagram user whollyunimpressive! Rachel wears socks with her Chacos because she is always cold but doesn't like having her feet trapped in closed-toe shoes and they are very comfortable. She also recently got a pair of Birkenstocks that have mostly replaced her Chacos. Her trusty pair of Chacos that she has had for years are still going strong, but her most recent pair have already fallen apart. So she made the switch. During the winter Rachel wears her Chacos with socks every day, no matter the temperature, or if it's raining or snowing outside. She even wears them every day to work! During the summer she will mostly wear them without socks. Although, when she does wear socks she always wears thinly knitted socks that were specifically made for warm weather. Rachel's favorite kind of socks to wear are usually solid colors like purple or blue and are a mid-calf length. She also likes to wear striped socks with her Chacos too. Rachel loves to hand knit socks for herself to wear with her sandals. She makes socks for all seasons, whether it's a nice thick pair for winter or a thin pair for the summer. Rachel started wearing socks with her Chacos in college about six years ago. It regularly snowed at her school but she hated wearing boots. She had a friend named Andy who always wore socks with his sandals, no matter the weather. So she followed in his footsteps and started wearing socks with her sandals even though it was 8 degrees outside. So without further ado here are the pictures!

Keen Saturday: alexnthesun

 Hello everyone and welcome to this week's Keen Saturday post! Today I featuring Instagram user and blogger, alexnthesun! You can find her blog here! Alex wears socks with her Keens because she thinks it's really comfortable and cute. On average Alex wears socks with her Keens about 2-3 times a week, during all seasons. Summer is the only time where she will sometimes wear them without socks. Her favorite socks to wear with them range from plain black socks to fuzzy and colorful socks. One outfit that she loves to wear them with is her black leggings with a black fitted jacket. The blue accents on the Keens provide a nice pop of color to her outfit. Alex first started wearing socks with her Keens about two years ago when she first got them. She says that wearing socks with Keens is one of her favorite combinations. Socko Thursday: thesassycfer_

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's Socko Thursday post! I am back from a long break and hope to be able to do weekly posts again. This week I am featuring Instagram user thesassycfer_! Kassandra wears socks with her Chacos because she doesn't want to wear other shoes. She also has a disease that prevents her from wearing closed-toe shoes, so when it gets cold she just adds socks to her Chacos. Kassandra wears her socks and Chacos year round, every day of the week, no matter the temperature or the weather. When she is hiking she prefers to wear long and thick socks. For casual everyday wear, she will normally wear ankle socks. Kassandra started wearing socks with her Chacos as soon as she got them, which was about one year ago. Teva Tuesday: annniiee_m

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Teva Tuesday post! Today I am featuring Instagram user annniiee_m! Annie wears socks with her Tevas because it gives her outfit a more funky look and is something you don't really see in fashion these days. She loves her unique socks and she thought to herself if she wears tennis shoes that cover up the socks, what's the point? So she wears socks and sandals. They are also very convenient and keep her toes warm. Annie wears socks with her Tevas at least three times a week in Spring, Summer, and Fall. Not so much in the Winter as the weather in Washington during that time of year is snowy and rainy. Some of her favorite things to do in them include walks on the beach and hiking. Her family and friends think her socks and sandals are both cute and funky. Annie's favorite kind of socks to wear with her Tevas are from Modsock. She is attracted to bright colors, shapes, and patterns. As far as length she prefers knee high and crew length socks. She recently started to leave her socks on when wearing them in the water. For cold water, she says wool socks surprisingly keep your feet nice and warm. She doesn't do it every time but plans to do it more in the future. Annie started wearing socks with her Tevas about 1 year ago when her Aunt introduced her to Modsock. She always had an addiction for funky cute unique socks so they were a perfect fit. Currently, Annie has two pairs of Tevas, the Hurricanes and a pair of Originals and definitely wants more. She also tried wearing socks with fancier brown leather sandals and plans to wear those with socks more as well. So without further ado here are the pictures!
