Socko Thursday: lindsaykoehler

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Socko Thursday post! This week I am featuring Instagram user lindsaykoehler! Lindsay loves her Chacos, but can't always wear them in the fall and winter when it's cold, so she adds socks to keep her feet warm. She also likes to show off her hand-knitted socks and she can't really do that unless she is wearing sandals. She will also wear socks with her Chacos when she gets a new pair and needs to break them in or if she has blisters on her feet. Lindsay mostly wears socks with Chacos on the weekends when the weather is too cold to go without. But she doesn't just wear them in the fall and winter. She also wears them with socks in the summer to prevent blisters. Her favorite kind of socks to wear with them are hand-knit socks that are mid-calf length. She prefers hand-knit socks over other types as they are thicker and warmer, and usually more colorful and unique. Linday has been wearing socks with her sandals since she got her first pair of toe socks in junior high! Back then she wore socks with old navy flip flops, but only started wearing socks with Chacos about five years ago. So without further ado here are the pictures!

Teva Tuesday: arielle_prinzing

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Teva Tuesday post! Today I am featuring Instagram user arielle_prinzing! You may have noticed that I haven't posted anything in two months. The reason for that is because I started working a full time job back in March and have not had the time to make weekly posts. Hopefully now that summer is right around the corner I will be able to start doing weekly posts again. So on with the post!

Arielle loves her socks and she feels like Tevas are meant to be worn with socks. She never goes hiking without wearing her socks and Tevas. She will only take off the socks to go into the water after a long hike. Her boyfriend thinks she looks goofy, but her son insists on wearing socks with his matching pair of Tevas. So sometimes they will both be rocking the socks and sandals look together. Arielle wears socks with Tevas everyday for everything except for running on paved trails or roads, or if there's snow. Since her Tevas have better support and traction than her running shoes, she will wear socks and Tevas whenever she goes trail running. Her favorite kind of socks to wear with them are black merino wool crew socks since she mostly wears black clothes. In the winter she wears longer and thicker merino wool socks. Arielle has been wearing socks with her sandals for as long as she can remember. So without further ado, here are the pictures!

Teva Tuesday: meglosti

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Teva Tuesday post! Today I am featuring Instagram user meglosti! Meg loves to wear socks with her Teva Tirra sandals because it adds to the comfort of the sandals and protects her feet better while hiking. She only wears socks with her Tevas when she is hiking and it is cold out. Which is mostly during fall and winter, but she will sometimes wear them in the summer too. Wearing socks with your sandals is a great way to continue wearing sandals through the colder months. Her favorite kind of socks to wear with them are navy blue Patagonia socks that are between ankle and mid calf length. Meg started wearing socks with Birkenstocks about 4 years ago and when she got Tevas she started wearing them with socks too. So without further ado here are the pictures!

Fun Friday: dezirahrah

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Fun Friday post! Today I am featuring Instagram user dezirahrah! Deziree wears socks with her sandals because they are comfy and are perfect to wear to work, which is a very relaxed coffee shop. She wears socks and sandals to work everyday and have become a work staple. Her regular customers love the style and her friends sometimes snapchat her feet whenever they come in. Deziree loves to wear long, fuzzy socks with her sandals. The longer the better, because she likes to make them look slouchy. She likes all colors and patterns and usually will wear whatever matches her outfit. She started wearing socks and sandals about a year ago, because her feet were always hot and stuffy inside normal shoes. So one day she decided to wear fuzzy socks with sandals and she has never gone back. So without further ado here are the pictures!

Socko Thursday: jennaayyy_jane

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Socko Thursday post! Today I am featuring Instagram user jennaayyy_jane! Jenni wears socks with her Chacos, because she spends a lot of time outdoors and since she lives in Colorado the weather can change quickly, so it's good to have a pair of socks on in case it gets cold. She also thinks they are really fashionable. Jenni wears socks with Chacos year round for when she's hiking, just going out, or if she just got a new pair of socks and is really excited about them. During the winter she wears them at least once a week, and during the summer sometimes everyday. She'll even leave them on if she is hiking through a stream, as long as it's warm out she doesn't mind having wet socks. She always brings an extra pair of socks whenever she goes out hiking. Although if it's really hot outside she won't wear socks. Jenni loves to wear socks with cute patterns so that she can show them off. During the summer she likes to wear ankle socks and during winter she wears either fuzzy socks or crew socks. She started wearing socks with her Chacos about 4 years ago when she first bought them and has been doing it ever since. She actually put a lot of thought into it when she first got them. She decided to go with the regular version instead of the toe-strap version specifically so she could wear them with socks. So without further ado here are the pictures!

Keen Saturday: vinogradova.katerina

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Keen Saturday post! Today I am featuring Instagram user vinogradova.katerina! She likes to wear socks with her Keen Venice sandals if she is going to be hiking long distances in them. If she is doing a short hike or walking through cities she won't wear socks. During the summer she did the Camino de Santiago and started wearing socks with Keen sandals for the first time during her trip. It was rather warm and there is lots of dust and stones on the trail so it was better for her to wear socks. If she needs to cross through water she will usually leave the socks on if they're dry. Currently she only wears white ankle length running socks with them, but may sometime try hiking socks. So without further ado here are the pictures!

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Fun Friday post! Today I am featuring Instagram user lookatmyfeetwearingshoes! She likes wearing socks with her sandals because they are more comfortable that way. She doesn't do it often, but she always wears socks when she wears her sandals. Most of the time she just does it if she wants to go outside and is already wearing socks, and sandals are easy to slip on. Her favorite kind of socks to wear with them are either blue or black ankle socks or colorful wool socks. Sometimes she will mismatch her sandals to give a more colorful look to her outfit.
