Teva Tuesday #18

Hello everyone and welcome to the eighteenth post in my Teva Tuesday series! Today I am featuring a fellow blogger named Summer Barcenas! Summer runs www.summersadventures.com. On her blog you can find her stories from her adventures across Europe and the United States. Last year she spent an entire school year in France on an exchange program. Summer loves to wear socks with her Teva Tirra sandals. She thinks they are the best shoes to wear for traveling. Now the reason she wears them with socks is because; her feet are always cold, it's more comfortable, and it allows her to wear sandals year round. Normally she wears black socks, but she will sometimes wear socks with stripes or polka dots. Summer loves to wear all kinds of different socks too. Whether they are long, short, fluffy, silky, patterned, or plain. As far as outfits go she will usually wear them with jeans, but sometimes will wear a skirt for a more quirky outfit. Summer got started wearing her Tevas with socks back in 2012 when she was traveling all around Europe. Her Tevas were the only shoes she brought. So when it got cold she wore socks with her sandals to keep her feet warm. So without further ado, here are the pictures!

Socko Thursday #12

Hello everyone and welcome to the twelfth post in my Socko Thursday series! Today I am featuring Instagram user shannon.rock! Shannon likes to wear socks with her Chacos because it's comfy and it allows her to wear her Chacos all year long. She thinks it's the only way to wear them when it gets cold. She usually wears them with socks about twice a week only during fall and winter. During that time she wears them for hiking and camping as well as for walking around campus. Shannon prefers to wear mid-calf length socks with her Chacos, no particular colors as she loves all socks. She started to wear her Chacos with socks about two years ago, when fall came around and she wanted to keep wearing her Chacos. So without further ado, here are the pictures!

Teva Tuesday #17

Hello everyone and welcome to the seventeenth post in my Teva Tuesday series! Today I am featuring Instagram user jujubeaniac! Juju also has a separate Instagram account that's all about her socks and Tevas here and she also has a page on her blog dedicated to her adventures in them here. Juju loves to wear socks with her Teva Tirra sandals, because she likes to wear her sandals hiking and adventuring and the socks help protect her feet. One of the rules at a scout camp she worked for over the summer is that you have to wear socks if you wear sandals. So she wore them all summer. Juju loves the expression and colors that you can have when you wear socks with your sandals. People are able to see the mismatched rainbow that reflects her personality. She wears socks and sandals almost everyday, no matter the weather. She will even sometimes leave her socks on if she needs to cross through some water. Her favorite kind of socks to wear with them are either wool Smartwool socks, because they go up past her ankle. Or mismatched Costco rainbow ankle socks. During the summer or when it is warmer she usually sticks to the ankle socks. But, as it gets colder her socks will get higher and thicker. If she's hiking then normally she will wear her wool socks. Juju has been wearing socks and sandals since she was little, but she hadn't started wearing them until a couple years ago. So without further ado, here are the pictures!

Keen Saturday #6

Hello everyone and welcome to the sixth post in my Keen Saturday series! Today I am featuring Instagram user thecrookedcrook! She likes to wear her Keen Whisper sandals with socks whenever it's too cold outside for bare feet, but she still wants to have on comfy shoes. Most of the time she will wear them with socks if she is already wearing socks and wants to go outside. She really likes to wear patterned Smartwool socks, because if they get wet her feet will stay warm. If it's warm outside she usually sticks to thinner Smartwool socks. She started wearing her Keen with socks awhile ago, because she likes to wear socks all the time and her Keens are really comfortable, so it just made sense to her to put the two together. Fun Friday #3

Hello everyone and welcome to the third post in my Fun Friday series! Today I am featuring Instagram user merpielle! She wears socks with sandals because she thinks there is something special about them that pulls a whole outfit together. She thinks they are really comfortable and they look really cute. She wears socks with sandals whenever she feels like it. When she isn't wearing sneakers she is most likely wearing socks with sandals. And she never wears them without socks. Usually she wears simple socks or knee length socks with them. As far as colors go she likes neutral colors. Her personal favorites are socks with frills on them. She started wearing socks with her sandals when she visited Hong Kong and wearing socks with sandals is the norm there. She decided to try it out and has been hooked ever since. Socko Thursday #11

Hello everyone and welcome to the eleventh post in my Socko Thursday series! Today I am featuring Instagram user erinrussellyoga! Erin loves to wear socks with her Chacos because of the functionality and she thinks they look super cute. Wearing them with socks keeps the straps from rubbing blisters into her feet. She loves how comfortable they are and how it allows her to wear Chacos year round. She wears them with socks every time she goes hiking with her husband or if she is doing outdoor activities, unless it is hot outside, then she will forgo socks. Erin loves to wear grey Smartwool socks with her Chacos, because they keep her feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. During the summer she prefers to wear socks that go just below her ankles and during the winter, ones that go just above her ankles. She has been wearing socks with her Chacos for about a year and a half. So without further ado, here are the pictures!
